Germany really does love Palestine
Utopian uplift makes space for Tatkraft

our new initiative “Tatkraft statt Tatort. Germany for Palestine” is taking off and also taking some more space and time. That is why it will get more quiet in this Newsletter here. Still figuring out how to bring constructive stories and action steps to you in the most sustainable and impactful way. You can always support it by making a contribution, of course. This way you are creating more space and time for it. So thank you for everybody making a contribution already.
Tatkraft is taking place once a month (1st Sunday) and sometimes in between. It is an online space to connect, learn, strengthen and act towards an end of the genocide. More than 100 people signed up for the first session. Next session will be this Sunday. All is in German. You can sign up here. We collect the details in another Substack account and a connected Newsletter in German. We have people from different regions of the country in here. You can connect and find your Demo-buddy or Falafel-Fellow. This new account is only about Tatkraft and it is in German.
We had two sessions so far, the next will be happening this Sunday. People asked for more space for exchange and some support in navigating difficult situations in friend circles or at work. Many feel alone in their solidarity for Palestine because they have nobody to have a deep talk with or go to a demonstration together. So that’s what we try to offer this Sunday: deep talk and connection. You get the link, when you sign up. It is in the latest post in the archive and it will be sent out via mail a second time on Sunday. It is for free. Monetary contribution welcome. This time it will be all about community building and how to connect with people to strengthen yourself and the movement. More input than output. But it will make your next output even more powerful.
What is “Tatkraft statt Tatort”?
A translation doesn’t really make sense. The name refers to a very German thing. What we make out of it, is an online/offline space to connect and inspire small action steps towards an end of genocide and a free Palestine. It is about catalyzing and connecting the critical mass that will eventually do the job which our politicians fail to do. The first two sessions were all about the German media and how many of them are not able to comply with journalistic standards when it comes to Palestine. You find all the aspects in our archive. In German. There are also action steps what you can do. And yes, writing letters actually makes a difference. The more the merrier, of course, and it depends on the tone and arguments. We give some arguments, check them out.
We are also working on an event in real life and not only in the online sphere. It will involve artistic intervention. More soon at Tatkraft.
